A Three-alarm fire broke out around 9:30 a.m. at 480 Massasoit Rd. in Eastham. Welfleet sent Tanker 96, Engine 95, Engine 94, and Car 1 to assist. The fire is believed to have been caused by a home appliance and is not considered suspicious. The initial call came into the Eastham Fire Department at about 9:30 a.m. this morning, reporting flames shooting through the roof. Firefighters from Eastham, Wellfleet, Orleans, Truro,Provincetown,Chatham, Harwich and Brewster were called to assist. Fire personnel and equipment  were called from as far away as Falmouth to either provide water at the scene or fill in at other fire departments. One side of the house is completely blackened and gutted and the other side had some smoke and water damage.
